Konferencija ,,Vandens kokybė, laikymas ir tausojimas" (Conference ''Water Quality, Storage and Conservation")

 

Dalyvavome edukacinėje programoje ,,Susipažinkime: VANDUO“ . Vaikai su mokytojais aptarė vandens būsenas: skystas vanduo, vanduo virtęs ledu, vanduo virtęs garais. Vaikai pasakojo, kur vandenį galima pastebėti gamtoje tokiose jo būsenose. Kalbėjomės apie ryto rasą, apie ledą ant ežero, apie debesis – susidarius didelei vandens dujinei būsenai debesys ima vienas kitą stumdyti, daužytis, todėl matome žaibus, o vėliau girdime griaustinį. Tiems sunkiems debesims – garams nebeatlaikius jie prapliumpa lietumi. Stebėjome vandens pasikeitimo būsenas skirtinguose induose. Aptarėme, kad vanduo prisitaiko prie indo formos, nes jis skystas. Vandens paviršiuje susidaro plona sienelė, kuri gali išlaikyti kažką ne sunkaus, jei tik išlaikysime vandens paviršių lygų. Mokytoja pateikė pavyzdį, kaip čiuožėjas iš filmuko ant vandens paviršiaus čiuožinėjo. Tada vaikai mėgino vandens paviršiuje padėti lengvas monetas. Kai kurie mėgino su sąvaržėlėmis, kai kurie su pirštukais. Stebėjome, kaip skęsta sunkūs daiktai, o ledo gabaliukai neskęsta. Jie plūduriuoja ir tirpsta vandenyje. Stebėjome garus, kylančius iš verdančio arbatinuko. Matėme, kaip buteliukas, kuriame buvo pilna ledo, rasoja nuo karštų arbatinuko garų. Mokytoja rodė, kiek pripylė vandens į buteliuką prieš jam užšąlant. O kaip atrodė jau viduje užšalęs ledas, kiek jis užėmė vietos buteliuke. Išsiaiškino, kad vandeniui virstant ledu jis plečiasi, todėl ledo atrodo daugiau nei vandens skystoje būsenoje.

Lopšelio-darželio darbuotojams įmonės ,,Aukštaitijos vandenys" atstovas pasakojo kokį vandenį mes geriame savo mieste, kokį vandenį sveika gerti ir kaip reikia elgtis, kad jį išsaugotume švaresnį.

We took part in the educational programme "Let's meet WATER". The children and their teachers discussed the states of water: liquid water, water turned to ice, water turned to steam. The children talked about where water can be seen in nature in these states. We talked about morning dew, about ice on the lake, about clouds - when there is a large gaseous state of water, the clouds start to push each other, to crash together, so we see lightning and then we hear thunder. When those heavy clouds, the vapour, can no longer hold up, they burst into rain. We have been observing the changing states of water in different containers. We discussed that water adapts to the shape of the container because it is liquid. A thin wall forms on the surface of the water, which can hold something that is not heavy, as long as we keep the surface of the water smooth. The teacher gave the example of the skater from the film skating on the surface of the water. The children then tried to place light coins on the surface of the water.  We watched heavy objects sink, but ice chunks did not sink. They float and melt in the water. We watched the steam rising from a boiling teapot. We saw a bottle full of ice dehydrate from the hot steam of the teapot. The teacher showed how much water she added to the bottle before it froze. And what the ice looked like when it was already frozen inside and how much space it took up in the bottle. They found out that as the water turns to ice it expands, so the ice looks more like ice than water in its liquid state.

A representative of ''Aukštaitijos vandenys" told the Kindergarten's staff what water we drink in our city, what water is healthy to drink and how to keep it cleaner.
